Les Auberges de Jeunesse unite for Bird Protection on Earth Day 🪽
From 15 April to 15 May 2024, to mark Earth Day, our network of Youth Hostels is launching a fundraising campaign in aid of the Royal Belgian League for the Protection of Birds (LRBPO). During this period, our establishments are joining forces across Wallonia and Brussels to raise awareness of bird conservation and crucial funds to support the LRBPO's bird protection initiatives.
How can you get involved?
- From April 15 to May 15, 2024
- When you book your next stay at one of our Inns via our website, by adding 1€ or more to your reservation.
- Or at your hostel:
- in one of the piggy banks available at the reception of our Inns

Earth Day 🌿
Earth Day, celebrated around the world on 22 April, is an opportunity to reflect on our impact on the environment and take action to preserve our planet's biodiversity. The Youth Hostels, mindful of their responsibility towards the environment, have decided to become actively involved in this cause by focusing on the protection of birds, those small creatures that play a vital role in ecosystems.
