L'Archéoforum de Liège is offering a chronological story of the city, beginning with Prehistoric times from more recent periods.
This archeological site allows you to discover the fundations of the former cathedral Saint-Lambert as well as the ruins of an old Gallo-Roman city !
L'archéoforum examines also the lifestyles, the traditions and beliefs of our ancestors. The exhibitions highlight several important past events such as the murder of the bishop Lamber and the demolition of the cathedral.
From a technological point of view, diverse digital tools are used to inform the visitor about the construction of the cathedral, the dailylife in a Gallo-Roman city but also about the different excavation techniques !
