We are a network of 10 youth hostels ideally located in Brussels and Wallonia.

Next July, we will be opening a new concept in the heart of Brussels, an ambitious project in which you will also play a key role.
Your function
As Director of Human Resources, you occupy a central position within the association and lead an HR team of 3 people (including yourself). You are responsible for maintaining an HR policy tailored to the needs and values of the association.
Your main responsibilities will include :
- HR strategy: maintain an HR vision aligned with the association's strategic objectives and values
- Financial management : Define, control and optimize your HR budget
- Administrative management: Supervise contractual aspects, payroll and legal obligations with rigor.
- Talent management: Oversee the recruitment, integration, training and skills development of our employees.
- Supervision of HR team: Coordinate and support team members to ensure efficient and harmonious management.
- Project management: Organize, manage, monitor and evaluate HRM subject-specific projects
- Well-being in the workplace: Maintain and develop a positive, caring working environment that fosters employee motivation and fulfillment.
- Meetings and representation: Participate in the Management Committee, Coordination Committee (Management Committee extended to hostel managers), represent the employer at CPPT and CE meetings and at meetings of the Board of Directors.
- Support for managers: Helping hostel and central service managers manage their teams
Your profile
- You have a degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- You have at least 5 years' experience in a strategic HR function
- You are recognized for your leadership skills, your ability to listen and your ability to unite teams around a common vision.
- You have proven experience in team management
- You are familiar with the legal and administrative aspects of human resources management in Belgium.
- You have solid skills in managing cross-functional HR projects
- You're an excellent negotiator
- An affinity with the associative sector or tourist accommodation is an asset
