Young Talent Competition : Auberges en Scène

If you're aged between 15 and 30 and dream of performing in front of an audience, take part in our very first "Hostels on Stage" competition and bring your talent to the Youth Hostels!

To encourage young people to express themselves and showcase their talent on stage, our Youth Hostel network and Jeunesses Musicales are launching their first singing competition: "Auberges en Scène".

The competition will take place in three stages:

• Video pre-selection 🎥
• A "local" stage in each hostel network where you will present a cover version and an original composition 🎤
• An "inter-auberge" final that will bring the winners together athostel de Jeunesse in Liège during the Fête de la Musique in 2025 where you will also present a cover version and an original composition 🎶

🤑 Participation is free!

Who can participate? 👥

• All young people born between 01/01/1995 and 31/12/2010
• Solo, in a group, with or without musical instruments: do as you please!

How to get involved 🧐

From December 15, 2024 to February 1, 2025, register via our form, attaching a video showing you singing. It can be a cover version or an original composition in line with Youth Hostel values (not offensive or insulting).

The video must :

• Last 2 minutes minimum 
• Be recorded in a single take (no editing allowed!) 
• Clearly show the participant(s)

What's next?

A jury made up of representatives from the Youth Hostels and Jeunesses Musicales will examine all the videos and select the talents who will be invited to take part in the "local" stage. Those selected will receive an e-mail inviting them to sing live in front of an audience athostel , where their video was sent. Then it's up to you... or rather, to sing! 🎤🎶
