🎤 Auberges en Scène returns!

🎶 Auberges en Scènes returns for a second edition full of energy and musical discoveries! Organized by the Belgian Youth Hostels in collaboration with the Fédération des Jeunesses Musicalesthis springboard is aimed at young artists between the ages of 15 and 26, throughout Wallonia and Brussels. The aim? Provide a stage for emerging talent, promote encounters between musicians from different regions, and above all... thrill the audience!

🎶 How does it work?

The springboard takes place in two main stages:

1. Local rounds (March - May 2026)

Each youth hostel , in partnership with the local Centre des Jeunesses Musicales, organizes a springboard evening.
👉 To take part, all you need to do is present a cover version AND an original composition, or two compositions. Candidates may be accompanied by live musical instruments or a soundtrack, but singing is compulsory.

A jury will select the winner of each round according to 3 criteria:

• musical quality,
• originality,
• stage performance.

🎤 Dates of local rounds 2026 :

• Saturday, March 21 - Malmedy
• Saturday, March 28 - Namur
• Friday, April 10 - Bouillon & La Roche-Champlon
• Saturday, April 11 - Liège
• Sunday, April 26 - Tournai & Mons
• Saturday, May 9 - Charleroi
• Thursday May 21 & Friday May 22 - Brussels

These evenings will be an opportunity to discover local talent in a friendly, festive atmosphere, in the heart of the Youth Hostels.

2. The grand finale

The 8 local winners will meet for the final on June 20, 2026 at the Liège Youthhostel , as part of the Fête de la Musique. Numerous prizes are up for grabs, including :

• two days in the recording studio,
• a day of coaching with Jeunesses Musicales,
• nights in a hostel in Belgium, Benelux or France,
• vouchers,
  and much more!

✍️ Workshops for progress

This year, two exclusive workshops are offered to help candidates grow in their musical practice:

• a vocal and stage coaching workshop in Namur on the weekend of February 7 and 8
• a lyric-writing workshop in Charleroi, on the weekend of February 21 and 22.

🌟 How do I register?

Registration is free and open to all young people aged 15 to 26 (born between 01/01/1999 and 31/12/2011). Whether you're solo or in a group, you can take part, as long as your performance includes singing. If there are several of you, each member of the group must meet the age requirement.

👉 Registering is easy:

1. Complete the online form between November 1 and December 31, 2025.
2. Add a video of you (or your group) singing.

• It should last at least 2 minutes.
• It must be recorded in a single take (no editing allowed).
• We need to see you clearly.
• The song can be either a cover version or an original composition, as long as it respects Youth Hostel values (i.e. no offensive or insulting content).

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to confirm your registration ✅
